Florida Punches Back After CDC Posts Fake COVID Numbers

The Florida Health Department is punching back against the Biden Administration’s Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) after they allegedly posted false information about coronavirus numbers in the state of Florida.

On Monday, the Florida health department blasted the CDC for combining multiple days of COVID-19 cases into one which displayed a terrifying graph which greatly misled the public.

Wrong again. The number of cases @CDCgov released for Florida today is incorrect. They combined MULTIPLE days into one. We anticipate CDC will correct the record,” the health department said in a tweet.

“The CDC reported 28,317 new cases on Sunday, which WSVN reported would mark the most confirmed infections in one day in the state since the beginning of the pandemic,” Fox News reported. “Multiple media organizations picked up on the number and the department corrected the stories online with some bite.”

Check out what the Daily Wire reported:

The FDOH said there were 15,319 cases on Sunday, and a three-day average of 18,795, noting that the agency follows the CDC’s guidelines for reporting cases, the Fox report added.

Though Florida has far exceeded other comparable states in battling Covid-19 and has maintained citizens’ freedoms, Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has become a frequent target of the left-wing press and the White House.

But DeSantis is not backing down.

DeSantis and the Biden administration have been trading shots at each other in recent weeks as the Biden administration is on an all out smear campaign against the state of Florida.

During a press conference last week, DeSantis completely obliterated President Biden on live TV after the Biden Administration specifically targeted the state of Florida’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We’re a free state, people are going to be free to choose to make their own decisions about themselves, about their families, about their kids’ education, and about putting food on the table, and Joe Biden suggests that if you don’t do lockdown policies, then you should ‘get out of the way,” DeSantis said during his press conference last Wednesday

“Well, let me tell you this,” DeSantis continued. “If you’re coming after the rights of parents in Florida. I’m standing in your way; I’m not going to let you get away with it.”

“If you’re trying to deny kids a proper in-person education, I’m going to stand in your way, and I’m going to stand up for the kids in Florida. If you’re trying to restrict people, impose mandates. If you’re trying to ruin their jobs and their livelihoods and their small business, if you are trying to lock people down, I am standing in your way, and I’m standing for the people of Florida.”

“So why don’t you do your job? Why don’t you get this border secure, and until you do that, I don’t want to hear a blip about COVID from you,” DeSantis blasted.
