DOUBLE STANDARD! Pelosi Wants Gaetz Ousted After She Refused To Remove Swalwell For Romance With Chinese Spy

If it weren’t for double standards then Democrats would have no standards at all. Now, Nancy Pelosi has just confirmed that her party has no equal when it comes to raw hypocrisy.

Madame Speaker has said that Rep. Matt Gaetz should be removed from the House Judiciary Committee after the New York Times published a story based on leaks by the usual anonymous sources that the Florida Republican was being investigated for “sex trafficking” involving a 17-year-old girl.

Gaetz appeared on Tucker Carlson’s show where he alleged that he was the victim of an extortion plot by a former Justice Department official and that the FBI was investigating. It is a complicated story and being that this is America, Gaetz should be presumed innocent until proven guilty. Sadly, as the Democrats and the media made clear during the presidency of Donald J. Trump, they do not believe in due process.

Pelosi also called for House Ethics Committee investigation into Gaetz; “If, in fact, these allegations are true, of course being removed from the Judiciary Committee is the least that could be done,” Pelosi said on a press call. “But again, I think from what we’ve heard so far, this would be a matter for the Ethics Committee.” Said Pelosi.

The media and the usual liberal social media influencers are moving in like sharks sensing blood in the water, but there was no similar rush to judgment with one of Pelosi’s top House lieutenants over a much more serious matter, one with grave national security implications.

When Axios broke the news late last year that Rep. Eric Swalwell had a relationship with an actual Chinese spy named Christine Fang aka Fang Fang, there were no calls by Pelosi for similar action despite the possibility that a sitting Democrat member of Congress may have had pillow talk with an espionage asset of the communist regime in Beijing.

Swalwell who is married with children has refused to comment on whether the relationship was of a sexual nature.

Not only did Pelosi defend Swalwell by deflecting attention by accusing GOP House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy of enabling the crackpot Qanon conspiracy, but she named Swalwell as one of her House impeachment managers.

Pelosi also shockingly expressed zero concern about Swalwell’s dalliances with Fang Fang being a possible security or blackmail risk by re-appointing him to the House Intelligence Committee after the news was public.

Pelosi’s hit job on Gaetz should have bipartisan support after he traveled to Wyoming earlier this year to campaign against Dick Cheney’s daughter Liz as retaliation for her joining with Dems on the doomed impeachment.

One thing is for certain. The Twitter mob, the media, and a weaponized politicized Justice Department that is at open war with Trump supports is going to go hard after Gaetz to run him out of Congress before any investigations have been completed.

But Swalwell continues to be protected.
