Democrat Sends Candace Owens Image Of KKK Hood, Twitter Does Nothing

In yet another example of how there are two sets of rules when it comes to social media, a Democrat who sent a picture of a KKK hood to black conservative commentator Candace Owens wasn’t banned from Twitter for his hateful actions.

On Tuesday, Owens made a tweet where she pointed out that those who are most responsible for violence against African-American people happen to be black. Failed congressional candidate Liam O’Mara responded by sending the offensive image with the message “Yikes. You may’ve dropped this.”

Unsurprisingly, Twitter found nothing wrong with what otherwise could have had O’Mara charged with a hate crime. Moderators responded to Owens that the white hood (which is clearly an offensive and racist symbol) was not in violation of their rules, prompting her to tweet out a copy of the response:

Owens’ tweet also appeared to encourage those who are pursuing legal action against Twitter over the company’s clear-cut bias, and the continued hypocrisy of the Silicon Valley tech giants when it comes to conservatives.

O’Mara who was walloped in November’s election for the House seat in California’s 42nd Congressional District by Republican Ken Calvert quickly discovered that he had messed with the wrong black conservative. Owens quickly reported him to the police.

In a series of tweets, Owens replied to O’Mara that “The police will explain to you why you can’t send klansmen hoods to black people. I just completed the police report locally which will be transferred to Riverside county.”

She added, “If you dropped this bullsh*t at my front door, it would be considered a hate crime.”

Ballotpedia provides the following information on O’Mara: William O’Mara was born in Bellflower, California. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Chapman University in 2006 and master’s and Ph.D. degrees from the Univerity of California, Irvine, in 2008 and 2017, respectively. His career experience includes working as a historian, cook, information technology support, and longshore worker.

While Twitter may have turned a blind eye to O’Mara’s hateful racism, the Democrat has since deleted his account. A likely attempt to destroy any evidence of his social media history that could aid a police investigation, and lead to further embarrassment for him and his party.

Owens has been subjected to constant harassment because she is a successful, heterosexual conservative woman, but even more so because of her skin color. There is nothing that liberals fear more than black people with a national profile to encourage others to break free from the Democrat plantation.
