In an epic reversal of fortune, New York Governor Andrew Cuomo suddenly finds himself in a fight for his political life over his mismanagement of the COVID crisis.
Despite glowing coverage by the corrupt mainstream media, Cuomo’s handling of the historic health crisis was a death sentence for thousands of senior citizens who were trapped in nursing homes where patients infected with the virus were sent.
Not only did Cuomo effectively kill elderly, but he tried to cover it all up by withholding accurate data on nursing home deaths from the federal government. His “excuse” was that then-President Donald J. Trump would use the stats as a “political football.”
Cuomo’s cover-up also included the bullying and intimidation that have long been his hallmark, including a threat to destroy the career of New York State Assembly member Ron Kim who is a Democrat.
The threatening of Kim may have been a critical crack in the dam when it comes to Cuomo’s support from Hollywood celebrities with none other than Alec Baldwin now suggesting that the governor should resign.
If Cuomo threatened Ron Kim’s career, Cuomo should resign.

The Albany strongman’s loss of pathological Trump-hater Baldwin is not a good sign for Cuomo who is in the center of an intensifying firestorm.
Baldwin’s defection comes only two months after the entertainment industry awarded Cuomo with an international Emmy for his “masterful” COVID press briefings.
Now there are calls for Cuomo’s Emmy to be taken away from him.

Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s Emmy Award should be rescinded over The Post’s revelation that his administration withheld nursing home death data amid a probe by federal prosecutors, a Queens councilman said Friday.
In a letter to the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, Councilman Robert Holden (D-Queens) said the group’s rationale for honoring Cuomo with its International Emmy Founders Award was no longer valid.
“The Academy awarded Governor Cuomo ‘in recognition of his leadership during the COVID-19 pandemic & his masterful use of TV to inform and calm people around the world,’” Holden wrote.
“We now know that his TV appearances and clout were used to mislead the public regarding how their loved ones died.”
Holden added: “Please rescind the Governor’s award immediately, as his actions have been an insult to every New Yorker who lost a loved one during this terrible pandemic.”
While other celebs have not yet come out to cleanse themselves of Cuomo, Baldwin’s criticism now gives them cover to do so as the scandal in New York continues to get worse by the day.
