In yet another fine example of how, when it comes to Democrats, the rules are only for the little people: Failed presidential candidate John Kerry was busted without a mask while traveling on a commercial flight.
Kerry, Biden’s climate czar, was observed during a flight from Boston to Washington D.C. lounging in first class without a mask that was made mandatory on airplanes by his own boss’s executive order.
When a picture of the maskless Democrat went viral on Wednesday, the Biden regime had a serious public relations problem on its hands. The administration has taken a hard line stance on masks since last summer, and the face-coverings have become a potent political statement.
NOTE: His mask is off & he isn’t eating or drinking. Will he be fined for breaking the law & banned from flying @AmericanAir like regular citizens would be?#LiberalPrivilege pic.twitter.com/3j7j57jXVI

The American Airlines rules on masks specifically states that: You can briefly lower or remove your face covering while actively eating, drinking or taking oral medication, but it must be worn between bites and sips.
Kerry had neither a plastic bottle nor a bag of snacks anywhere near his face. This not only makes him a violator, but if one listens to Democrats and the media, Kerry recklessly endangered the lives of all other passengers on the plane.
The airline said that it was investigating the matter.
Last month the Transportation Security Agency (TSA), which is tasked with enforcement of Biden’s edict, put Americans on notice that the failure to wear masks would expose the violator to severe fines meted out by the agency.
BREAKING: Starting Feb. 2, air travelers without a mask may be denied entry through the @TSA checkpoint, boarding the aircraft or continued transport. Failure to comply with the mask requirement can also result in civil penalties.

Don’t expect Kerry to be fined or cited however, because we all know there are two sets of rules: One for the politically connected, and one for everyone else. While an ordinary traveler would have been fined, shamed on social media, banned, and possibly arrested, nothing will happen to him outside of a brief moment of embarrassment over being caught.
Kerry is already denying that he violated the American Airlines policy and Biden’s mandatory mask mandate, dismissing the picture as St. Patrick’s Day “malarkey” in a tweet.
Feels like there’s some St. Patrick’s day “malarkey” afoot on Twitter. Let’s be clear: If I dropped my mask to one ear on a flight, it was momentary. I wear my mask because it saves lives and stops the spread. It’s what the science tells us to do.

Basically, Kerry is telling people to believe him and not their own lying eyes.
It isn’t the first time that Kerry has been exposed as a towering hypocrite either. The sanctimonious Democrat recently drew criticism for his travel to Iceland by private jet to accept an award for his “leadership” on climate change.

When confronted by a reporter, an indignant Kerry huffed: “I’ve been involved with this fight for years. I negotiated with President Xi to bring President Xi to the table so we could get Paris. And, I believe, the time it takes me to get somewhere, I can’t sail across the ocean. I have to fly, meet with people and get things done.”
The hysterical fear-mongering over climate change is more about imposing their radical policies on America than anything else. Kerry and his wealthy globalist buddies in Davos being unwilling to take on polluters like China and India proves that suspicion.
In his 1971 book Rules For Radicals (a modern-day Bible for the Democratic party), leftist radical Saul Alinsky wrote: “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules”. A wise piece of advice when dealing with liberal hypocrites like Kerry.
